Bio
Kole Ebert, Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Nelson University, has built a remarkable coaching career rooted in faith, mentorship, and a passion for basketball. Ebert earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Management from Arizona Christian University. Inspired by the transformative impact of his own coaches growing up, Ebert pursued coaching to positively influence young athletes through the sport he loves. His journey began at Phoenix Christian High School, where he served as an assistant coach as well as serving as the middle school head coach from 2018 to 2022. During this time, he led the middle school team to a 21-0 record and a state championship in 2022, alongside multiple Final Four appearances. His high school teams also achieved success, including a 19-8 record and a 2A Final Four appearance in 2022. In 2022, Ebert joined Nelson University as an assistant coach, contributing to an 18-9 season and an NCCAA Final Four appearance in the 2023-24. Promoted to Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director for the 2024-25 season, he led the team to a program-record 24-6 record and an NCCAA National Championship. Ebert integrates Christian values into his coaching philosophy by fostering a team culture built on integrity, servant leadership, and faith-driven purpose, aiming to develop his players both on and off the court.
