Warriors Continue Their Playoff Run!

Early this morning, the Nelson University-Arizona  Men's Basketball team faced off against the Patriots of Mission University in an intense back-and-forth battle. #13 Harley Upton led the team with a strong 24 points, shooting 9 for 12 from the field and 3 for 5 from three. Harley also shot perfectly from the free-throw line and was a key contributor to today's playoff win. #10 Keyshawn Celestino-Clyde held it down in the paint scoring 16 points and snagging an impressive 11 rebounds. Keyshawn also added 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks to his stat line. The Warriors freshmen #22 Zavion Bineyard and #11 Michael DeHorney made a big impact in their first year at the NCCAA National Tournament! The two freshmen combined for 23 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 6 assists.

The Warriors took down the Patriots in an 80-64 win and are anticipating a hard fight tomorrow against #2 Wayland Baptist at 3:30 et.
